Director: ms. Donna

Donna joined KKC in August of 2017 after working five years as  Director at Circle Nursery School in Madison. She also served as Head Teacher in their four-year-old class for eleven years and helped lead the school thru the National Association for the Education of Young Children Accreditation process.
Donna holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut in Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She also has a goal to finish her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in the near future.  She believes that the early years are the most important years in a child’s life and works tirelessly to create a playful environment that will help cultivate a lifetime of love and learning.

Heidi has been with KKC from opening day which is over ten years ago. She holds a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Child Psychology from Southern Ct State University. Before KKC Heidi taught kindergarten in Oxford, CT and ran an after school program at the West Hills Magnet School in New Haven. She then enhanced her career by working at Lillian Grace Child Care Center building a solid educational curriculum for that center and taught parent courses on positive discipline and potty training. During this time Heidi also began a family of her own and took some time off to be a stay at home parent until her youngest went off to kindergarten, Heidi returned to teaching at  The Country Nursery School in Clinton and taught mommy and me classes at Gymnastics World. Heidi came to KKC with a lot of experience, but in her own words she says, " I really love what I do! Working with young children is my true passion. My primary goal is to make your child's first real school experience positive and successful."  Heidi continues her education by  attending teaching workshops to bring in new ideas to our classrooms and staff.

Staff members are CPR , first aide and med certified. Our employees maintain continuing education hours each year, which is regulated by the State of CT Office of Early Childhood. Our center makes it a priority to have employees exceed the expectations given to us from the State Education Department.  We believe knowledge is power and the more information and training we supply our staff, the better quality within the classroom occurs.
